Specialty Services

The things a pool needs a few times a year.

Some things are not weekly. They are seasonal, situational, or the result of a pool that went untended for a while. All of it is available to members and non-members.

Tiled pool detail in clear water

Water & Surface

Green to clean

A neglected or newly purchased pool brought back. Testing, shock treatment, flocculation or filtration as the water calls for, repeated vacuuming, and a filter clean at the end. Priced after we see it.

Algae treatment

Green, mustard and black algae each need a different approach. Black algae in particular needs the surface opened up before chemistry will touch it.

Drain and refill

Once dissolved solids climb high enough, no amount of chemistry fixes the water. A partial or full drain and refill resets it. Timed carefully, because an empty pool in Las Vegas heat is its own risk.

Scale and calcium treatment

Hard valley water leaves a white line at the waterline and on the tile. Treated chemically where possible, mechanically where it has gone too far.

Deep Cleaning

Tile cleaning

Calcium removed from the waterline tile so it looks like tile again. Bead blasting for heavier buildup where the tile can take it.

Acid wash

For plaster that has stained or discolored past what chemistry will lift. Drained, washed, neutralized and refilled.

Filter cleaning

Cartridges pulled, inspected and deep cleaned. DE grids stripped and recharged. Recommended once or twice a year for most valley pools.

Salt cell service

Cells inspected, acid cleaned and output tested. A scaled cell reads fine and produces nothing.

Inspections

Buying a house with a pool?

A pool inspection before closing tells you what you're actually inheriting: the condition of the surface and tile, the age and state of every piece of equipment, whether the plumbing holds pressure, and what is likely to need money in the first two years.

You get a written report with photos, suitable for a negotiation.
